Ronald Norman Folland
RONALD NORMAN FOLLAND ( 1932-1999)
Ronald Folland was born in 1932 and for most of his life he lived near to the city of Portsmouth in Hampshire.
During the late 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s, Ron Folland was one of the most successful published painters in the world. He was noted particularly for his large and often long landscape views of English villages, and the open and limited editions of his work which were published at the time, painted using a muted earth tone colour palette, sold widely.
Ron Folland died in 1999.
