About John King
John King was influenced and encouraged to take up painting full time by Lionel Edwards

His passion for hunting and point-to-point meant he naturally specialised in equestrian and field sports and many of his hunting pictures have been reproduced as limited edition prints.

He has illustrated for the 'Illustrated London News' and 'Horse and Hound', and books by Michael Clayton, Jim Meads, Robin Page and others.

He has exhibited at the Royal Institute, the Society of Wildlife Artists, and is a founder member of the Society of Equestrian Artists.
